Art I/Graphic Arts
This beginning art class is designed to teach basic art principals, while exposing students to various cultures throughout the world through art. Students will also learn basic computer design and presentation skills, while working with a variety of art mediums. Classes are aligned with National Art Standards and designed with the cooperation of DATA’s core class instructors.
Art II
This higher level art class is designed to go deeper into the study of art and prepare students to be ready for the art curriculum at the high school level. As in Art I, students will explore various cultures throughout the world through art. Students will study the elements of art and principles of design, while working with a variety of art mediums. Students must be able to work independently and must have received a grade of “C” or better in Art I/Graphic Arts and be cleared by Art Instructor for admission to this class.
Classes are aligned with National Art Standards and designed with the cooperation of DATA’s core class instructors.
